While every four years, our nation is consumed by a presidential election, the annual local elections have a greater impact on our daily lives. Our quality of life; public safety, public spaces, roads, libraries, community assets, and schools, are all led by the people elected into municipal positions.
There are very good people currently on the Bethlehem Area School Board. Since 2010, Dr. Joseph Roy and Dr. Jack Silva are good leaders who have demonstrated incredible work in evolving the curriculum, and getting the budget out of the red.
We have great choices to make in the upcoming primary election on Tuesday, May 21st. I hope you’ll consider electing me to serve on the board of directors, representing region 3 of the Bethlehem Area School District.
